MEET THE TRAINERS

COLLEEN SEELY
Colleen is the owner and head trainer at Fox Pointe Farm. Colleen is an accomplished rider herself and throughout her career, she has developed numerous riders and horses into winning combinations in the hunter, equitation, and medal competitions. She is a USHJA Trainer Certification Program (TCP) Certified Instructor and attends clinics and symposiums. In 2009, she began judging VHSA horse shows. In addition to her training and practical experience in the ring, Colleen hold a Bachelor's degree in Science and Education from Lourdes College.
TRACI LERMOND
Traci joined the Fox Pointe family in 2009, when her daughter began taking lessons and fell back in love with the sport! She has been an educator since 1993, and hold a degree in Early Childhood Education. She continues her equestrian training with Colleen and her two horses, Bodhi and Poe who reside at the farm.
SAMANTHA BELCHER
Samantha Belcher joined the Fox Pointe team in 2024 after graduating with a B.A. in Equine Studies from Emory and Henry College. Samantha has been riding since 2006 after begging her mom to let her ride horses, she has competed on the ARIC team as well as her college's IHSA team. She has ridden in clinics with some notable trainers such as Bernie Traurig, Paul Cronin, and Tom Brennan and has worked for several barns in her career to grow her knowledge of training and teaching.
SAVANNAH GREGG
Savannah first fell in love with horses when she was 11 years old after her mom encouraged her to take her first riding lesson. In 2015, she started as a working student at Fox Pointe Farm to continue her involvement in the industry. She has counseled numerous day and overnight summer camp sessions as well as taught beginner through intermediate lessons here at the farm. Savannah graduated from Virginia Tech in 2023 with a Master’s in Equine Exercise Physiology. She has taken pride in educating herself on the mechanics of the horse to help develop a fit and successful horse and rider for the show ring.
GEORDI
Head Farm Corgi
Geordi loves his job as head farm dog. He helps the humans out with chores every day. He also keeps humans and horses in line as he is a strict rule follower. He tries to attend all horse shows, if possible.
VIRGINIA
Head Barn Cat
Virginia takes her job as barn cat very seriously. She can be seen hunting and keeping the barn safe from pesky critters. She also loves to help Colleen coach when she has some free time.
